At Vangwe, you’ll work with top-level international clients, helping to build impactful products in a collaborative, flexible, and growth-driven environment.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with experience in Java to help us build robust, scalable, and high-performance solutions, with a strong focus on clean code and technical excellence.

Requisitos

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of backend development experience using Java SE
• Experience with Spring, Maven, and microservices architecture
• Solid knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
• Experience working with non-relational databases (Redis, DynamoDB, MongoDB)
• Hands-on experience with AWS or another cloud provider
• Ability to write well-structured, testable, and efficient code
• Willingness to contribute ideas, suggest improvements, and engage in architectural discussions
• Team player mindset with a proactive attitude and a drive for impact

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with other programming languages like Node.js
• Previous experience in Fintech or payment systems
• Curiosity to explore new technologies and continuously improve processes
• Fluent in either English, both written and spoken
